In the beginning of this year, I am actually trying to move my site from Wordpress to Astro. Because at that time I am already trying out obsidian and I have this great plan that I can write in obsidian and then copy my files to astro contents folder. well if I am lucky I can find plugin or tools to automate it. Well but unfortunately that never happened for me. I think the main reasons is still the same. it is still hard for me to sit and write a long blog post or article because my perfectionism getting in the way. I want to write a blog that contain examples and reference, well structured and well thought out. I don’t want to be not being able to answer regarding something I write in my blog As I started to getting used to using Obsidian. I am noticing that some of my notes are start small, and then growing into something long. sometime I would even split it into multiple notes. Then I think, why not trying it for writing blog post or articles? also the other thing I notice was, It is not hard at all for me to share and write my thought on a social media posting. sometime it a bit lengthy, not as long as a full blog writing but lengthy enough for a social media post. Then if writing like that is not hard for me… why not writing short thoughts on my platform and share it in social media instead of writing the full post on social media? We often says in our social media post that “this post is reminder to myself” what is the other word for that? a note ! yes a note. a note is easier to write because we can write a short note, doesn’t really need to be a well structured either, but it record our thought, and sometime we want to share it with other people, so we post it on our social media. and it doesn’t need to be so stressful either, it is just a notes, it is okay to write something that we just thought of, something that we haven’t research in detail yet and even incomplete. then yea, that is why I am moving plus I am creating this `Notes` section for my notes. that way I own my thought and social media just a place to share my thoughts. when you are reading about `Notes` section, expect a not structured and even not well thought out ideas. While I am at it, I think I will make some of my snippets folder public as well. (I can’t just move my whole snippets folder because am afraid my leak something regarding work lol). and yeah then again, this notes might someday make its way into my writings, it is actually started under writings folder, but as I find it too stressful to write now, then I just move it to notes.
